Less than 0.5 significance level =Rejecting null hypothesis(when it's true) 

(Sufficient evidence to support alternative hypothesis)

Greater than 0.5 significance level =Failing to reject null hypothesis (when it's false)

Type 1 error :Incorrectly rejecting true null hypothesis

Type 2 error :Incorrectly failing to reject a false null hypothesis

 Researchers general use a significance level of 0.05 for their researches.
