See what's being taught to you

Mostly what's taught in school has least relevance with our lives. It's not helping us to grow but instead is giving us inertia of not acting anyways. 

First protect your-self.

Believe me if they say they care about you, it's hard to believe. They've concerns because they've some interests embedded in you.

To really make a mark, just start thinking and acting for you. Safeguard your interests, as that's your prime duty of protecting yourself.

Speak for yourself is your right

Don't be disturbed if you've spoken on the behalf of your side. And this's what was a requirement. This's what was mandatory. Don't you know nobody speaks or is going to work for you. They're their for their own agenda, for their own standards, for their own interests. So if you've spoken for yourself it's your right, it's your duty what if they've gone against you. You've cleared them your viewpoint. That's it. It's how strong men work, how they respond. 

we've least control over life affairs

Never expect life goes the way you think or expect. We just have a little control on its affairs. Just surround yourself with some competent and helping people who at least are there when you're in dire need.
